Rather than reinvent the wheel, I suggest you search the forums on dar2 (and
bugzilla ?) and you will find plenty of advice from Darrell May about
troubleshooting dar2 using the command line.
I suggest you try the tips outlined there in numerous posts (go back 6 months
to a year or more ago), and then report progress or otherwise.
ie try manually mounting the share and running the backup and watching what
happens with the tail command (all from the command line).
