I appreciate your comments. I can't connect to the NAS using anything but
cifs. Everything I tried with nfs failed to mount (device is an Acer Aspire
Easystore). However I created a user guest pw guest. I also changed the
Autounmount option to 'yes'.
Incidentally I tried to uninstall/reinstall affa as per instructions but it
couldn't locate to rpm.
I rewrote the config and mounted the NAS as user guest. I then tried to run
the job again and it failed as it said another job was running!
I will report further when the current job finishes so I can see what has
happened.
