I just noticed that the dag repo has updated to Nagios 3 on 31-Oct-2008. My
last Nagios installation was done on 23-Oct-2008 with Nagios 2.12. I haven't
had a change to test if my contrib and documention work with Nagios 3.

Did you enable the dag repository? i.e.
yum --ena=dag install nagios-nsca
When I run this command, nagios-nsca is found.
