Michael---- I am attempting to configure AFFA to carry out a specific but very
important task. One stage has escaped me, perhaps you might suggest something?
AFFA's export files need to be burned to DVDr - sometimes many DVDr for each
export file. My photographic workstation has many tera bytes of storage (more
and more all the time...) but some of the older stuff should really go away
into (reliable) offline or passive archives. AFFA's exports of these photo
sessions meets this task but the target media should be stored elsewhere - say
on DVDr (4.7G). An export for a 20GB session needs to be spread across five
media so that burning must be 'sliced' or 'sectioned' appropriately. Can or
does AFFA do this sliced form of direct burning across multiple media? Do you
consider incorporating bzip2 into AFFA? ----Robert
