on a server had installed the version smeserver-sme7admin-1.1.0-1.noarch.rpm
and I proceeded to uninstall it using the commands
yum remove sysstat
yum remove hddtemp
yum remove rrdtool
signal-event post-upgrade
signal-event reboot
then install new version smeserver-sme7admin-1.1.0-5.noarch.rpm with the
instructions found on the wiki.
After this I realized that the charts were not updated more

[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# /etc/init.d/sme7admind start

sme7admind interrotto
then it seems there was a mistake that did not allow the launch of the service.
On sme7admin log read this
readConf() OK !
DBI connect('sme7admin','sme7admin',...) failed: Access denied for user
'sme7admin'@'localhost' (using password: YES) at /usr/bin/sme7admind line 264
MYSQL error Access denied for user 'sme7admin'@'localhost' (using password:
YES)
Can't call method "prepare" on an undefined value at /usr/bin/sme7admind line

alphanumeric password included in the new package seems to be not accepted by
the system, I solved by changing whit the configuration panel of sme7admin the
password used and inserting the password of old package (pass) ...
On a clean install the problem does not occur. I think that the old package
when uninstalling not eliminated the old password or the new user package has
not updated the password...
