I can't see how that can be made to work as the trac.ini is not a static file
but gets updated from the Trac environment with configurations settings that
are made through the Trac admin interface. At the time, I used a perl library
that could manipulate ini file formats to allow independent updating of the
trac.ini file for specific Trac settings that facilitate the integration into
the SME server.

This worked fine for quite some time now, with the only issue that the ini
library has a bug in that it corrupts file permissions when updating the file.

If you think it can be done more 'properly', by all means have a go at it.

In the mean time, this bug has been fixed and I want to close this problem
report.
