smesever-mediawiki installs the core of mediawiki through a %pre macro which is
a very bad thing to do. Please update your package according to the SME Server
Developers Guide and take a look at the other bugs still lying around for
smeserver-mediawiki.
By using this method you bring people in serious problems with their mediawiki
installation as shown in http://forums.contribs.org/index.php/topic,46133
