MailMan can be very picky. If the permissions are incorrect, qrunner (the part
of mailman that sends out the messages) stops. We can make sure mailman has
correct perms by:
/usr/lib/mailman/bin/check_perms -f
Then restart mailman:
service mailman restart
You can look in the log file to find which directory/file is having perm
problems. Logs are kept in:
/var/log/mailman
The ERROR log will give a start but most likely the QRUNNER will hold the bulk
of the info needed.
