I will readily admit that I'm no SME guru so I am including a pertinent history
of events from the time I found the forum thread:
823 yum remove awstats
826 yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-awstats
827 signal-event post-upgrade
831 signal-event reboot
That is the order in which I did things once I saw that I needed to remove the
older version. The missing commands in the sequence are not related to the
matter at hand. Did I miss a step?
