tuo fix this i am adapting phpMyadmin3-3.5.2.2 to work with SME8
it was needed that Shad recompil php53 packages from smeos
for the moment you need to install them from smeupdates-testing :
yum update php --enablerepo=smeupdates-testing
then you need to install EPEL repo : wiki.contribs.org/Epel ( as phpMyAdmin3
still is not in the SME repo, need to be imported. and also php53-php-gettext)
yum install smeserver-phpmyadmin --enablerepo=smedev --enablerepo=epel
then
expand-template /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
expand-template /etc/phpMyAdmin/config.inc.php
service httpd-e-smith restart
and everything works like a charm.
