When I first logged in I found something like this (Can't remeber exactly but I
believe this is correct) :
"The phpMyAdmin configuration storage is not completely configured, some
extended features have been deactivated."
I found several pages this pages on this.

I followed the link on the phpmyadmin page as per the picture and that took me
to the help docs on my server where I figured out what to do. I then just
documented it as per the original report.

I believe that this is by design, but users need to know how to fix the
'error'.
I do not if this occurs in later versions.
