After testing the version of mailman and smeserver-mailman (smetest and smedev)
i have see a strange behaviour that i haven't seen the first time, tested on
many VM, it is a bug confirmed.
version concerned :
mailman-2.1.9-20.el5.sme
smeserver-mailman-1.3.0-42.el5.sme
History :
-yum install --enablerepo=smedev,smetest mailman smeserver-mailman
-signal-event post-upgrade ; signal-event reboot
-Then activation of mailman in the server-manager
-Creation a list by the mailman panel
-Registration an user by the panel of list
But there are NO mails of subscription for the user and for the list owner
in the log of mailman i can see only the pending message without the
confirmation message of the user.
[root@sme8dev64 ~]# cat /var/log/mailman/subscribe
Sep 14 13:10:26 2013 (4450) toto: pending steph de lab <[email protected]>
192.168.xx.xx
It results that after the activation (enable button) by the server-manager i
need to reconfigure the server by the followed commands if i want to receive
mails of user registration and creation of list.
[root@sme8dev64 ~]# signal-event post-upgrade ; signal-event reboot
What i feel is that it lacks some expand templates after we check the enable
button.
I have many snip of /var/log/messages after
