currently as
# rpm -qa smeserver-rkhunter
smeserver-rkhunter-1.2.0-9.el5.sme
# rpm -qa rkhunter
rkhunter-1.4.0-1.el5
we have:
# db configuration show rkhunter
rkhunter=service
DisableTests=apps,suspscan,system_commands
status=enabled
# rpm -V rkhunter
S.5....T /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter
SM5....T c /etc/rkhunter.conf
SM5....T c /etc/sysconfig/rkhunter
S.5....T /var/lib/rkhunter/db/mirrors.dat
and we can see theses warnings
after
# config setprop rkhunter DisableTests
apps,suspscan,system_commands,deleted_files
# signal-event remoteaccess-update
# sh /etc/cron.daily/rkhunter
no more warning about deleted files
I don't think this should be the default value, but at least it works in the
latest releases when you want to remove the test.
