This type of procedure is not recommended and updates don't work properly. 
php53-mapi in the SME8 contribs repo is a version mismatch to the current
Zarafa release and may not always work unless you use an older Zarafa version
that matches.  That is why this contrib is not suited for SME8.

I would not recommend this be available in the contrib repo for SME 8 as it
will not be functional out of the box.  Please don't include in SME8 repo.

For those interested in using this for SME8, they can grab the contrib from the
SME9 repo and hack it from there if they want.  Updates will be a nightmare, I
already ran this way for a couple if years and ran into multiple problems. 
This method is NOT recommended.


There is an SME philosophy... "It should just work"

This contrib for SME8 does not follow that philosophy and therefore does not
belong in the SME8 contribs repo.
