I've moved this to v8.
There are a number of changes due to v8.
Using these rpms:
smeserver-awstats-1.2-7.el5.sme
awstats-7.0-2.el5.rf
The awstats rpm now lives in /var/www/awstats
The config files go in /etc/awstats
I have used JPPs patch above to modify the server panel.
To test I have manually created the following files :
/usr/bin/qmail-preprocessor.sh
/etc/awstats/awstats.mail.conf (this needs templating)
Added this to /etc/crontab :
45 */1 * * * root /var/www/awstats/awstats.pl -update -config=mail >/dev/null
If I run this manually I get the following error and cannot figure out what to
change :
/var/www/awstats/awstats.pl -update -config=mail
Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.mail.conf" by AWStats
version 7.0 (build 1.971)
>From data in log file "usr/bin/qmail-preprocessor.sh|"...
Error: Couldn't open server log file "usr/bin/qmail-preprocessor.sh|" : No such
file or directory
Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.mail.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be
wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).
I have had a good look but I can't see it where it is wrong.
If I can get this sorted out we can almagmate it into the sme-server awstats
rpm I guess.
