--- Comment #4 from Nicola Tiana <[email protected]> ---
I can confirm this:
- new 8.0/32 server fresh installed; no contribs installed, only yum updates;
- after a full restore, the Affa backup should send a signal-event
post-upgrade/reboot but this it seems has not done;
- so destination server is not reconfigured and I manually did this
(signal-event ecc....), to realize after reboot that user file had been
restored correctly, but:
/etc/passwd
/etc/shadow
/etc/gshadow
/etc/samba/smbpasswd
had not been restored; the result is a partially inconsistent server where db
(I think) contains some information about users missing in the above files. I
manually restored those files and after a little struggle with file permissions
I had again a consistent server (I had anymore to re-join workstations);

According to affa.log all went fine:

I understand that Affa at the present time is not supported; would be better
for future to create a custom Centos 6 server with Affa installed
(http://wiki.nikoforge.org//Affa_Server_Setup_on_CentOS_6_(64-bit)) to manage
backup or we can give a chance to install the current Affa 3.2.2 on SME ?
