The issue I believe jader is reporting, is that the email report is displaying
differently. ie these lines from one day to the next, which is when (I assume)
he updated his server.
| Mon 2014 May 19 20:00 | daily.5 | 13946 | 5.6GB | 756GB/88%
|
| Tue 2014 May 20 20:00 | daily.4 | 13,947 (reg: 13,188, dir: 759) |
6.0B
I see a similar result to jader.
Here is a snippet of the affa backup email report I get. Note I swap USB drives
every day (mostly except weekends) so that is the reason for the alternating or
non continuous backup dates

To me it seems the backup is still running, it's just reporting differently.
As well there is a email from Cron Daemon to root
Subject: Cron <root@servername> /sbin/e-smith/affa --watchdog=86400 --run
bkpjobname
on 27 May at 1:42am it contained this
Argument "333,147 (reg: 306,095, dir: 26,988, link: 64)" isn't numeric in
numeric gt (>) at /sbin/e-smith/affa line 2935.
Argument "333,494 (reg: 306,436, dir: 26,994, link: 64)" isn't numeric in
numeric gt (>) at /sbin/e-smith/affa line 2935.
I have Affa version 2.0.0-rc4 installed
These reporting differences occurred on the next & subsequent affa backups that
ran, after the day I updated the sme8.1 server with the last released set of
updates.
