Just on my build box, even with the typo error corrected after the boot the
service mysql55-mysqld is not launching

Sorry I don't think so or the problem is I test on a sme9 and not on a sme8.
But It seems to me that there is no changes. Of course I can be wrong
In fact the service start manually but we launch mysqld_safe and we don't have
any password set
FYI I use the software collection mysql55 for centos6 64 bit
