--- Comment #3 from Mats Schuh <[email protected]> ---
(In reply to Stephane de Labrusse from comment #1)
> I have attempted to build, now we need to test that rpm
Hi Stephane,
on SME9-x86_64:
yum localinstall freedup-1.6-3.x86_64.rpm
gives an error:
Error: Package: freedup-1.6-3.x86_64 (/freedup-1.6-3.x86_64)
Requires: libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.14)(64bit)
which is probably due to SME9 using GLIBC_2.12:
[root@smeserver ~]# /lib64/libc.so.6
GNU C Library stable release version 2.12, by Roland McGrath et al.
Maybe we should use an older version of the freedup source with a lower
requirement for building an RPM (I think it was 1.5-3 on SME 8). But lets see
how and if Dag responds, not that we have to deduplicate our efforts on freedup
afterwards :-)
