Bug ID: 8847
Summary: Domain name hardcoded, not considering virtual domains
Classification: Contribs
Product: SME Contribs
Version: 9.0
Hardware: ---
OS: ---
Status: CONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: smeserver-sogo
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
The domain name being served by Sogo is hard coded and always defaults to the
main domain name. Virtual domains or sub domains can not be 'selected'.
Common practice is to have e.g. local.mydomain.com and add the real domain e.g.
mydomain.com as a virtual domain, and the domain that Sogo will handle.
Suggestion:
Add db sogod key MailDomain and set this by default to the primary domain name.
Change routines that use {$DomainName} to evaluate the new db key instead, and
regenerate the conf file based on the MailDomain key.
User can set the MailDomain key to the real mail domain instead of primary
domain
