Bug ID: 9096
Summary: Wiki page has the wrong syntax for whitelistsender
hosts
Classification: Contribs
Product: SME Contribs
Version: 9beta
Hardware: ---
OS: ---
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: smeserver-wbl
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
The wiki page for smeserver-wbl
> http://wiki.contribs.org/Email_Whitelist-Blacklist_Control
indicated that qpsmtpd whitelistsender hostname entries should include '@'
> Any envelope sender of a mail (@host.domain or [email protected])...
However, the whitelist entry in my server-manager does not include the '@'
> Any envelope sender of a mail (host.domain or [email protected])...
while working on what appeared to be a problem with check_badmailfrom_patterns
(bug 9095) I have verified that on my SME 8.1 system running
> qpsmtpd-plugins-0.0.1-3.el5.sme.noarch
> smeserver-wbl-0.1.0-21.el5.sme
the syntax indicated in my server-manager (no '@') works.
I have updated the screenshot for the white list, and the example for
whitelistsenders under Usage Examples.
