yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-sysmon
failed with the following dependency failure:
--> Processing Dependency: fping for package:
smeserver-sysmon-6.4-4.el6.sme.noarch
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
Error: Package: smeserver-sysmon-6.4-4.el6.sme.noarch (smecontribs)
Requires: fping
So I tried:
yum install fping --enablerepo=epel
which worked, then I repeated the original install:
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-sysmon
and it worked :-)
I was in the middle of a big file copy so skipped the:
signal-event post-upgrade; signal-event reboot
and tried a simple:
service sysmon start
Then went off the the server-manager web page and after a few mins the graphs
appeared.
I will monitor to check they look sane after a few day running.
