is this a fresh SME install ? any history of backup restoration ?

the problem is actually not caused by mailman, but something that inverse the
order of www and apache aliases

this has been fixed in sme9, but not yet in sme8 we should focus to fix that.
For sme 9 a script invert apache www order in group file if not in the right
order.
