--- Comment #2 from Unnilennium <[email protected]> ---
Hi Trevor,
this is by design. I know some projects put binaries in their cvs, however this
tends to make CVS buggy and slow. This is why we only store ascii patches and
spec files in it.
the method to get access to source is well documented :
- here:
https://wiki.contribs.org/Simple_Package_Modification#Getting_the_source_code
- also here: https://wiki.contribs.org/Package_Modification#Modify_the_package
- again here:
https://wiki.contribs.org/Setting_up_RPM_Building_for_SME_Server#Package_modificationhttps://wiki.contribs.org/Setting_up_RPM_Building_for_SME_Server#Package_modification
- even here: https://wiki.contribs.org/CVS_usage#Prepare_a_working_copy
- or here:
https://wiki.contribs.org/Rpm_build_example_using_cvs/mock#PACKAGE_MODIFICATION
cvs update -dPA
make clean
make prep
closing as not a bug
