Note there is one issue I noted in ipsec-update with setting xfrm_larval drop -
it should be set to 1 and not 0 as follows :
284 system("/sbin/sysctl -w net.core.xfrm_larval_drop=1") == 0 or die("A
problem occurred with sysctl: $?");
Will patch it soonest
