Errors with timeout default and -u on udpsvd fixed in other bugs.
This contrib only allows -v and -vv (via default or verbose).
If really needed will have to change the way the log parameter is used.
I'll close this on the basis of the other fixes, but if required we;ll re-open
or raise a new request.
