considering the new feature added with bug # 8044 this kind of event should
not occurs anymore.
I simply close this as won't fix, because:
- unintentional trailing dot has only been reported by myself
- it should not happen anymore
- creating a routine to remove a heading dot might lead to removal of
intentional heading dot ...
