this has to be discussed per repo, as the exclusion or inclusion of rpms by
default.

this is the opposite as what you suggest two sentence away : you want it
visible and easy to install from the manager, but you want them "visible to
no",In other words they must be easy to install but can not be used easily ?
what is the point ?

as any contrib have.
However, they might be redirected to smeaddons rather than smecontribs to ease
their access.

thanks Terrry, if we have an interface to install piece of software, I do not
see the point of having to refer to pages of copy and paste in a wiki to
install any element. Also, if we alter at anytime the content of a repo in the
wiki, this can not be propagated to user who already are using them, while this
solution offers more flexibility and support. I also aim at easing updates with
it.
