you need to expand the template and then restart both httpd-e-smith and
httpd-bkpc

this is indeed the magical part you need to have the httpd service restarted to
read again the configuration from its configuration, after executing the
template expension 
signal-event backuppc-update should have done all of this ( what I did to test
myself)


you never had to uninstall it and reinstall

you just need to install now the new version from smecontribs.after removing
your custom-templates

yum update smeserver-BackupPC --enablerepo=smecontribs,smetest
signal-event backuppc-update
