Ulp. On running (after reconfiguring TWICE):
yum update smeserver-BackupPC --enablerepo=smecontribs
signal-event backuppc-update
I got (inter alia)
Verifying : smeserver-BackupPC-0.2-2.el6.sme.noarch
1/2
Verifying : smeserver-BackupPC-0.1-12.el5.sme.noarch
I have no idea why this old version still showed up as the system was on 9.2
before I ran any updates, with BackupPC running.
After the reconfigure BackupPC is running perfectly in the right version and
the web interface is accessible.
Sorry to have wasted your time! (though I don't understand why it did not get
updated when the other updates were run?)
BackupPC has continued to run backups correctly on schedule all through all
this nonsense.
