New install of smeserver-freepbx
I noticed that FreePBX defaults to Extensions mode in Settings/Advanced
Settings/Users & Devices mode.
I thought I could modify the key in config show freepbx
freepbx=service
AllowHosts=w.x.y.z
AriPassword=123456
CdrDbName=asteriskcdrdb
DbName=freepbxdb
DbPassword=abcdefghi
DbUser=freepbxuser
DeviceAndUser=disabled
ManagerPassword=password
TCPPorts=5061
UDPPorts=5060,5061,5160,5161,4569,10000:20000
access=private
status=enabled
I changed it with
config setprop freepbx DeviceAndUser enabled
and then ran
signal-event freepbx-update
On checking FreePBX was still set to Extensions
I had a quick mosey round and cannot see that the key is used anywhere.
It is stored in the freepbxdb under freepbxsettings:
key
AMPEXTENSIONS
value
deviceandusers
It seems to be coinfigure here
amportal.conf:792:AMPEXTENSIONS=deviceanduser
If the key isn't used either we should code it in somewhere, or remove the key
(probably the latter)
