Ok,
to use mailstats with Geoip v2 you need this module from openfusion (please see
wiki for more details)

This should probably be a requires with the either the mailstats contrib or
possibly the geoip contrib - not sure which is best
That cure the error.
There is an updated check_badcountries plugin on the latest version of
smeserver-geoip2 in smetest that will work with mailstats to give the geoip
info again.
Sample extracts from my server with GeoIP v2 DBs, updated INET6 rpm, and
updated check_badcountries plugin.
