You'd better use the dependent item built into Zabbix. Create a master item
which can contains text. This item can have a very low history (like 1h). It
won't be used directly, and will just accept the JSON output from the script
Then create dependant item, with JSONPath preprocessing ($.status, $.code and
$.days_left)
