Juat ran into this myself, still an issue.
As a collary to this, something that may be related, if you whitelist a banned
IP by clicking on the Unban button it adds the IP to the IgnoreIP list as it
should but it adds a "," prefix, in the database it shows:
|IgnoreIP|,x.x.x.x|
This shows in the panel as a blank entry in the IgnoreIP list.
Entries made at the command line to the IgnoreIP list seem to work fine, they
add correctly & after signal-event email-update are correct in the conf files.
