For the unwary who might read this, as per discussions in our chat this is not
a great idea unless you absolutely know what you are doing. You are highly
likely to break your server and will require a complete restore from backup to
repair the damage.

The server has to keep unix, samba and LDAP passwords in sync. It is a complex
dance and not something that should be modified manually unless you are a) on a
test machine and b) really understand the inner workings of Koozali SME.
