so this issue is a long standing one and not a simple fix
frm JP
rotating logs
with old logrotate esmith script pre logrotate.d. known for 15 year old bug
close but no result link created with 1 second too late
real fix will be to remove that. workaround would be to rotate and restart on
failure
So typo is now fixed, underlying issue remains
