Decided to make an rpm from this:
https://wiki.koozali.org/Qemu_guest_agent
Should be able to install as follows:
Enable 'Guest Agent' in the target VM Options/Qemu Guest Agent
Then install:
yum --enablerepo=smecontribs install smeserver-qemu-guest-agent
A post-upgrade/reboot will be required.
