no. wiki should be updated then. 
 helo plugin is designed to check there is all RFC respecteed including having
a domain name.  the filter should be ok the domain name.  if you need an ip
filtering this should be done before actually commecting to qpsmtpd to avoid
the load.  

again there are option available to do it before
