Overnight no more error messages in /var/log/messages:
root@mailserver ~]# cat /var/log/messages | grep runmailstats
Dec 10 00:17:06 mailserver runmailstats.sh: DBI
connect('database=mailstats;host=localhost;port=3306','mailstats',...) failed:
Lost connection to MySQL server at 'sending authentication information', system
error: 32 at /usr/bin/mailstats.pl line 1663.
Dec 10 00:17:06 mailserver runmailstats.sh: Cannot open mailstats db - has it
beeen created? at /usr/bin/mailstats.pl line 1663.
[root@mailserver ~]#
[root@mailserver ~]#
Suggest turning off the write to MySQL by mailstats:
DB configuration setprop mailstats SaveDataToMySQL no
and closing this WONTFIX?
