I've also just tried that, and EPEL 8 has BackupPC V4, but Epel 7 only has v3.
I'm sure I sucessfully installed it within a month, but clearly things have
changed!
Need someone with more understanding than me to roll an rpm
There are other contribs which could operate within an iframe (Zabbix?), I'll
look at one of those and see if we can get one that helps us to find our way
through this particular maze.
