with dyndns if ssl=yes is set a status email will be generated according to the
daemon time setting, in my case every 2 hours

with ssl=no there is no status email
this has been mentioned previousely see Bug 11656 and only appears to apply
with dyndns and may also happen with others see

last 12 hours ssl=no and status enabled no emails
