I noticed this in my own logs:
Jun 2 12:44:47 fagehome esmith::event[6565]: : /var/www/.cache/samba - No such
file or directory
I was having issues viewing the mounted ibays.
I did this which appeared to fix the issue and the log noise.
mkdir -p /var/www/.cache/samba
chown apache:shared /var/www/.cache/samba
There now appears to be a file:
ll /var/www/.cache/samba
-rw-r--r-- 1 apache www 454656 Jan 25 10:51 gencache.tdb
I am wondering if it is actually looking for this file?
/var/lib/samba/lock/gencache.tdb
