OK. I'll focus on the systemd stuff first.
It is running as a service, but not sure what is being passed to it. Worthwhile
doing it right :)
no rrd files are being generated in the /var/lib/rrd folder, which makes me
think it's something to do with the sysmon script....
I put a little debugging in and it's not getting into the if controlling rrd
creation.
A little more investigation required
rrdtool is rrdtool-1.4.8-9.el7.x86_64, which is the standard with centos 7
(comes from base repository).
