--- Comment #1 from John Crisp <[email protected]> ---
This bug probably also affects the ability to connect using pjsip.
"websocket only works over one channel driver, either pjsip or chansip. You can
change which one in Advanced Settings."
I think it is this which is set to 'Both' on my FreePBX 15.x?
SIP Channel Driver
KEYWORD:ASTSIPDRIVER
The Asterisk channel driver to use for SIP. The default is both for Asterisk 12
and higher. For Asterisk 11 and lower the default will be chan_sip. If only one
is compiled into asterisk, the PBX will attempt to auto detect and change the
value to what is compiled. The chan_pjsip channel driver does not work on
Asterisk 11 or lower.

I can see this:
cat /etc/asterisk/backup/sip.conf.bk.1685004507
232 ;websocket_enabled = true ; Set to false to prevent chan_sip from
listening to websockets. This
233 ; is neeeded when using chan_sip and
res_pjsip_transport_websockets on
234 ; the same system.
I think this ought to be set to just pjsip ?
