for info after install (without the contrib), I had a kernel update pending a
reboot so I got this situaiton
[root@sme11 ~]# akmods
Checking kmods exist for 4.18.0-553.30.1.el8_10.x86_64 [ OK ]
Files needed for building modules against kernel
4.18.0-553.30.1.el8_10.x86_64 could not be found as the following
directories are missing:
/usr/src/kernels/4.18.0-553.30.1.el8_10.x86_64/
/lib/modules/4.18.0-553.30.1.el8_10.x86_64/build/Is the cor[ÉCHOUÉ]nel-devel
package installed?
[root@sme11 ~]# uname -r
4.18.0-553.30.1.el8_10.x86_64
[root@sme11 ~]# signal-event reboot

took 2 minutes to compile
did not compile on install because headers were not those of running kernel.
did not compile on reboot (might need to add a wantedby=smeserver.target to
akmods.service in a dropin.
do we want a smeserver-akamods for that or just put the dropin in
smeserver-base ?
