Scanning a /24 network seems to work in reasonable time.
Pro: SM2 also shows MAC address, not just IP address.
but SM1 showed (for non-firewalled PCs) OS info and computer name:
OS: Windows 10 Pro 22631 (Windows 10 Pro 6.3)
OS: Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard 9600 (Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard 6.3)
OS: Unix (Samba 3.6.23-13.el5_11)
errors seen:
