8741 is problematic. It is a regression in functionality: we do not ship karaf3, but if you generate a new project, it will require it. Hence new projects created by a Nitrogen archetype do not work with Nitrogen release. Stephen has agreed to take a look, but he is on PTO (I think). I am not sure when he is coming back, but until he (or someone else) fixes it, we really should not ship, as the archetype is completely useless. A volunteer would be greatly appreciated.
