Metro has free wireless internet, comfortable couches, and electrical outlets they don't mind you pluging a laptop into. And it's open 24 hours. They make up for it by charging you $3 for a glass of chai. (Really good chai, though.) The downside is they play music all the time, and half the time it's really obnoxious. (Occasionally it's good, pink floyd or the beatles or something. Often it's realy terrible though. Whiny "I don't know what key I'm near and I don't care" talentless local bands. Plus when the weather's bad and they close up the front sliding glass thingy, the cigarette smoke from upstairs gets into the downstairs area.) > Oh, and Stu...could you please remind me of the place in Austin that one > would be able to get bulk pocky? Jimmie Bragdon has officially signed on to run paper gaming. I told him how to subscribe to this list... > Thanks! > kreely Rob
