Kristie will no more if it's open 24hrs. Unless I make a "refugee camp"
in the same room w/temporary cots. Hmm...will we then encourage
squatters?

Maybe we can ask to the con fairy for one of those airport/movie/atm
type auto-ticket machines to station at the door. : )

Also from Penguicon's Website:

Registration is 24 Hours at the Con

Just to let those of you new to Penguicon know, you will be able to
either pick up your pre-registered badges, or do an at-the-door
registration, on a 24 hour basis. Please "Read More"...

You will be able to either pick up your pre-registered badges, or do an

at-the-door registration, on a 24 hour basis during Penguicon. Badges
for those that have already pre-registered can be picked up at the
Pre-Registration table in the hotel lobby. Those who need an
at-the-door
registration should go to main registration, which will be next to the

hotel Ballrooms. During the night and early morning hours when the two

registration areas are closed, you will still be able to pick up badges

or register in Ops, also located in the hotel lobby.

Please note that at-the-door registrations will only be available on a

'space permitting' basis. We suggest you check this website for updates

during the weekend to make sure that there is space available.

Some Panelists/Presenters/Gamesmasters have had special arrangements
made for badge pickup. If you are in this group you will have been
notified directly by e-mail.

Do we want to try to do this? I guess this is Kristie's decision, since

she's now the Registration head...it wouldn't seem to me like it'd be
too much travel to have someone take the dead shift...just make sure to

have little money as possible...many a time I've shown up to a
convention an hour after registration closed, and wasn't able to get
into some events. Annoys me. I raged. They finally let me in.
