Hello,
Based on the following config. :
- Duron motherboard with 64M,
- 2 identical NICs : D-Link DFE-530TX (kernel module : via-rhine)
eth0 connected on local network
eth1 connected on ADSL modem (ECI Xtense 500),
I've got the following bugs with rc1 version :
1) at installation, error at NIC detection with message
" insmod'ing module via-rhine failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm
line 486
insmod'ing module via-rhine failed at /usr/bin/perl-install/modules.pm
line 486"
(I've no pb of IRQ or DMA conflict)
so I've skipped over the network instal to do it later on.
Then , on local console, I've insmod'ed without any problem eth0, plus
declared it as INTERNAL INTERFACES in
/etc/bastille-firewall.conf to have access through the network to Naat
where I terminated the config for eth1, ADSL,...
everything working great.
Question : where is the best file to hand-write my eth0 declaration ? as
my modif of /etc/bastille-firewall.conf is overwritten by naat
after my declaration of eth1.
2) The Monitoring->Network Usage has a pb in this release (not detected
(the pb) in last beta) :
eth0 and eth1 graphs show no activity
ppp0 (ADSL) graphs are OK but the summaries (by day,
month,...) are not correctly initialised (show 6000Gbytes during year for
a
system initialised yesterday :-))
Anyway, you've done a great job.
